    N/a BP acceleration

Here is a video that I just took of my car accelerating onto the on ramp on the highway. It's not too bad IMO, I wish you could see the speedometer better but there isn't anything I can do now.
If you are going to post something negative don't even bother posting at all.
This is a video of me accelerating on the on ramp to the highway. Yeah I know its not that fast, but for a N/A bp its not too bad. Mods areA-code VAF2.25 exh...

I've got one o' them gopro wide angle cams, and a couple clips running 2nd thru 4th on an onramp but don't wanna post em. Something about that whole self incrimination thing, and stopping the fun at the speed limit with that wide angle lens, geeze it looks like you could get outta the car and walk alongside.

yeah, it's great. So many people complain that they can't tune their VAF's. I don't know what they are talkin about. Its 3" in diameter.

Its just a cheap canon a590is.
It's not like you can recognize the area or anything, even if. They would have a hard time proving anything with that small video clip. lol

you know this video makes me laugh a little inside... not bad in any way, but a year of driving my turbo escort, I shifted a very similar, I didnt really bang gears... fastforward to like 2 months ago, I got to drive a 06 srt10 viper at work, I went out with the viper tech and I would kinda roll on the throttle and gently find second... he said "need help finding that gear jr?". I have been ruined by the weak gear boxes in the protege... Ill never be able to bang gears because of my past with the mazda gearbox!

            cool vid, runs strong!

Runs strong dude, You should bug Ryan and get him to cut you an Intake manifold, it's a great upgrade. Also are you running the stock intake tube? If you are grab one of these Intake Pipes. It only takes a bit of trimming. I have it on my protege with the heimholtz still in place. Puts my vaf right in the area in front of the wheel. I will snap you a pic if you want are interested.

I think my stock protege is faster. Not being negative. Just saying.....

Just a vid to compare acceleration with other proteges. This car is basicly bone stock minus the singh's grooves on the head.

I've already got one of his cut manifolds, and an intake pipe.

Well I wasn't shifting fast, you can't really see the speedo, and there are so many variables its hard to say but yours doesn't look bad.

The blackshine seemed smoother on the powerband.

But with that video is hard to tell as you did not go all out from 1st.

EBAY sells some of those suction camera mounts that can be attached to the inside of the driver's side door.

IIRC it's at 16 degrees. And I'm fairly certain that they are working.
