jassesays - you can't tell that its off the ground. Even an oem car won't have much if any weight on that inside rear during a hard turn, and might as well be off the ground.

true but my gen1 escort was not near stock. kyb struts, custom front strut bars, aftermarket rear swaybar, eibach rear springs, GC front coil-overs, 15x7 rims with 205/50/15 falken ziex tires. the corner i took was a right hand turn at in intersection at 25mph. it was wicked fast for the intersection and i'm only guessing i hit 3 wheel cause i have never felt any car do that before.

Which one do you think is better. The ground control that I can only lower 2" drop all the way or your FRS? How low can you lower that FRS coils anyways and where can i get one?

Where can I get the ES poly bushings?

thanks for your help...must be nice driving your car on the street and huggin' them turns.

Well, it's still bodyrolling that much, and with only Azenis for grip.

Is McCormick's car rolling that much?

The FRS does not drop the car much. It's not designed as a lowering tool, it's designed to have the car sit at optimum height (albeit the ZX2, but close enough) It's closer to stock height than not. Which is just fine with me, handles better and clears road objects...just looks kinda goofy.

The FRS is a matched spring/strut combo, the GCs are just springs, so you need a set of struts to match em up with. (the FRS is no longer available, have to find a used a set somewhere)

www.suspension.com is where i got my ES bushings.

yes, nice hugging turns, not nice trying to take a drink of coke or trying to adjust the stereo....

Jesse, ya lost me dude...please explain...and who's McCormick?

Kevin McCormick....REALLY fast STS Civic on the West Coast. I think it needs to be stiffer. What spring rates is the FRS again?

ohhh, right him...yet ANOTHER fast civic....i'm already dealing with the 2 drivers that came like 1-2 at the Nats in a civic... Jason Rhoads and Ken Motonishi...

my spring rates are 500# front and 325# rear. but also that day i tried different damper settings. The adjuster is infinete. Meaning there are no "clicks" like a MS or an illumina. 3 turns out is full soft, 3 turns in is full stiff. I'm also still running the OEM front sway...

I had set the rear at 1 turn out from full stiff and the fronts where 2 turns out. I'll stiffen the fronts up and see what happens.
