Goodbye to my car of the past five years!!

    Video in Divx 5.1.1:

Or, uncompressed, if you suck and don't have Divx 5.1.1

The thing had a busted automatic transmission. I didn't really feel like working on it after I got my 5-speed LX. I donated it to a local animal rescue group.

No, I just made a beep noise with my mouth or something.

I'm quite happy to see it go now. There's a big puddle of ATF where it was.

I think the police would be arresting me.

Without animal rescue groups I wouldn't have my beautiful Kate.

to each his own; but personally i can't even think of one good charity type organization that i would donate my car to. it would never happen in my shoes.

Well, I gave the description of the problem, and they were still willing to take it. They either fix the car up and re-sell it, or I guess they could part it out. They don't use the car itself, they use the money they make from it. Haven't you guys ever heard of this???

It was a waste just sitting there. The car hasn't been registered or insured since August 2003. I think I gave it to a good cause.

Well, I think that it was good use of the car... good going. Not only does it get a non-working vehicle out of the driveway (room for another project car?) it also helps out some poor animals (which is good, because unlike people many animals do not deserve how they are treated!).
